Hi,
What type and what about does the transfer case hold in oil, Also will I need to replace any gaskets on this when the oil is changed?

Thanks
Chris

easy to do you just need a socket drive + extension for drain / fill plugs -no gaskets to worry about...
uses ATF from memory was 750 ml ..but check in the transmission section to be sure
good luck

I used dex III atf fluid yesterday and haven't found any problems, the book shows 1.2litres, but i didn't get that much in or out of mine. i got about 900mls

Hi

Ford specify a different oil to that used in the transmission (ESP-M2C 166H for the transfer box and WS9 M2C 202-B for the transmission).
