transfer case leak

Got a slow leak from my transfer case, I'm assuming it's a gasket of some type? Probably just pull it apart and replace that if I'm correct, sound right to you guys? Also just a side note on that, it is ok to drive around with the brown wire mod normally, not roasting tires or anything like that. And what about towing?

Happened to be under there today and noticed that hose had popped off the back of my transfer case, it was just hanging there. My guess is that's where my fluid was coming from. So here's a new ?. What was that hose and do I need to put a hose clamp on that or is it supposed to just be hooked up over the barbed connection? I'm guessing I should probably drain and refill my t-case now that it's been exposed to water and such. How hard is that gonna be to drain and refill?
