Hi all,
I need some help and advice please with my ’97 Explorer transfer case problem.
First of all, I’m not an expert at all. About 3 month ago I noticed that when I turned the car hard into a right or left corner the left front wheel and right back wheel are blocked for a second or so and the 4 x 4 lights on the dash board where flashing.
I handed it in for a service and they stripped the gear box (transfer case) twice, but couldn’t stop the problem. I drive normally on the road and the lights come on flashing for a short while and then they are off again.
The problem is that here in South Africa only a few Explorer are running and I can’t find a real expert.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
