Okay, I have looked at the ford parts network for a transmission cooler for my 4.0 sohv 99 EX. I must be slow because it is monday or something but I couldn't find one there...could anyone help me out in locating one, or should I just go to the napa parts store and buy one....

Are you looking for a stock cooler or an aftermarket one?

Send Torre an e mail and he will quickly quote you for the Ford part.

Also try www.jegs.com

Check with Ford Parts Network first and see if Torre can help you out like mentioned above.

I use a B&M that I got from Summit

i used a second factory ford cooler

i mounted it right in front of the existing cooler. Looks real clean and you probably wouldn't know it wasn't supposed to be there unless you knew what you are looking for.

anyway i got it off ebay for $11 to my door. I see them on there from time to time so if you want a used one that is a good source

Post a picture of your setup please.

the 3rd one is the remote filter i have mounted to the passenger side frame rail. I like having it up there because it is a little more protected than some of the other steups i have seen. easy to access when i change it also

If my memory serves me right, my routing is:

trans. --->radiator--->first aux cooler--->second aux cooler--->aux filter--->back to the tranny
