I just finished rebuilding my 4r70w transmission and everything was straight forward. All went well and reassembled transmissiona dn reinstalled it. adjusted the gear shidting cable and fill the tranny with fluid. Warmed up truck and put it into gear and nothing in any gear.

Help Please.

Sounds stupid but double check the ATF level.

If its okay then start by reseating connectors...

If still nothing I would think that you didn't put something in the valve body back the same/right way...

ALSO something else to consider is that a lot of the bolts inside transmissions are Torque-to-yield (AKA one time use only bolts) if you reused any of these they may have sheared off. I would think that if they sheared you would at least get some grinding..

There are a lot of variables here that DIY transmission attempts often overlook. Attention to detail is a must, forget to torque something down or put the wrong bolt in the wrong spot and you will have a trans that doesn't work.
