Brain has a Frankentranny thread where he examines the A4LD family of transmissions. It would be a good starting point for your research. Obviously, a big tranny cooler with maybe an electric fan on a thermostatic switch and an external filter set-up wouldn't hurt your tranny's life-span. A temperature gauge will give you an idea of how things are going and give you an alert if things are getting a little too warm. I am more into the A4LD as I have a first gen so I wont be much help at all to you... You could check with Sonnax to see if they have any improvements available. They have lots for the A4LD.

i read the frankentranny thread my trans guy is unwilling to build it for me so i was hoping someone knew of an after market company that makes heavy duty clutch packs and everything else in there

That's why it's "Frankentranny" no one makes one like that. (One Of A Kind) God forbid some company Does THEY WOULD BE RICH! I know I would get one!
