Transmission is dropping out of gear.

1996 explorer xlt 4x4
Every thing works fine till i slow down to around 30 mph i hear this sound like
gears trying to ingage and rpm drop I just tap the gas pedel and it ok It is
as if it is droping out of drive then when i step on gas it ingages I have
flushed and replaced transmission filter CAN ANYONE HELP ME

Up date Ijust pluged in my OBDII/EOBD and ge PO122 code Throdle pedal position senser
sw A circut low .can this have anything to do with this?????
 












Sounds like it could be a trans issue, or possibly the infamous transfer case shift rail bore issue.... Not sure of an easy way to diagnose it between the two....
