Hey guys,
I'm new here and I found this forum after a little googling.
My problem is: We just swapped the engine on my 97 Explorer to a newer one (same engine, I think this one was on a 99). engine started right up and is running like a champ, BUT. After we put everything back together, the transmission is not working properly.
First:
I checked the oil and it's fine. I am working on checking the grounds and the wires that go from the transmission to the main plug. Any ideas please?!?!?

First:
- Won't let me start by turning the key (have to start by shorting relay)
- When I put it on drive it feels like when a manual transmission has a bad clutch and takes effort to get moving
- Won't shift out of whatever gear it's on
- Speedometer doesn't work (tach is fine)
- "O/D" light is flashing
- Check engine's on
- ABS light is on
