If the lines are accidentally swapped will that overheat trans and have fluid leaking out of vent in bell housing?

almost 2 weeks late, but which lines are you referring to? the lines to the cooler? that shoulnt effect it, as it is the same as inverting it and runnign cooler upside down

They typically go hot in at the top, but it wouldn’t have any substantial effect on temp, especially when moving. Fluid dark?
