transmission not shifting over the second gear

I was servicing the transmission and got solenoid valves out and had a look at them. Then I put them back and changed the filter and but about 4 liters of motor craft mercon v.. But I didn't have the quantity needed so I added about 3 litre of normal atf oil.
Now the car don't shift quickly to the second gear and don't shift to third or the fourth or fifth gear
Reverse working only when the transmission is cold
So what the problem could be, is it the oil or something about solenoid valves?!

Did you replace all seals and or o-rings? Sounds like you're losing pressure.
You really should use the correct fluid, but that's not what's causing your issue.
