im not sure which one it is, but if im at a stop, and floor the X, it will sometimes drop out of gear, and the engine spikes, then whenit slows down, you can feel and hear the SLAM CLUNK and it jerks back into gear. It hasnt happened for a while, and it doesnt always do it. The other day, i was playing in the mud, revved it to maybe about 2000 rmps and it did it again. it was in 4x4 this time. what would this be?

two thoughts,

1. not enough red stuff on the dipstick (<--brown or black stuff doesnt count)

2. the one way clutch is about to blow up

pray it's #1

i checked the level and its actually above the fill line. could this be whats doing it? too much fluid? also what's the procedure for changing and filling the fluid?
