My 96 Explorer Auto. 4x4 was slipping,my wife had takken it up to the store and when she came out she tried to back it up and it won't.She finnally was able to leave after the person in front of her backed out.She got it home and I got in there started up put in reverse and it went forward,it also went forward in neutral as if I put it in drive.The code P0761 (shift solenoid C CKT Performance or stuck off)was on there before this happened(and still is)also a couple months ago O/D on the shift started flashing and I cleared the computer and the code I mentioned above came back up.Has anyone had this problem before or heard of or know which one of the 6 solenoids (once the pan is dropped 6 solenoids are exposed)the C shift solenoid is?Or is it something completly different?I'm not exeactly sure which of the two Trans. (4R44E/4R55E) I have.I have a 4.0L V6 pushrod (vin x) engine.I'm lost if anyone has any ideas Please.......
