I have a 97 Eddie Bauer, SOHC 4.0L V6 and I was wondering if someone could tell me if the rough changing of gears is normal. Evertime I put my truck into reverse it jolts and sometimes when i accelerate at a stop sign the gears feel rough when they are shifting. My truck is an automatic and had a new engine put in at 40,000 miles paid by the dealership. So i dunno what is wrong now my truck has 53,000+ Mi on it. any ideas would help...
