I have a 1994 explorer v6 automatic 4x4. My problem is when I shift the tranny to overdrive it just revs like it is in neutral.
Reverse won't work unless I leave it in gear and rev it to about 3k.
If I put it in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd then it will move but seems to slip until a certain point then it is fine. I am guessing the transmission is bad but I am new to Fords so I was hoping someone could tell me otherwise(like maybe an electrical connector, vacuum hose, fuse, etc..)
Oh yeah, the fluid level is normal.
