I just replaced the transmission in my 1998 ford ranger 4.0L V6 4x4. That is what the shop told me to do. Now the tranny is still doing the same thing. After a few minutes of driving it does not shift automatically in Drive. Also, there is no reverse. It's like it is in neutral. So I am now told that I need to replace the PCM. However, it is no longer manufactured by ford. Can anyone help me?
