transmission question hope to get some answers

I had someone else rebuild it and put the shift kit in and I just put the tc in and bolted everythm together

Gotca.there is alot that can affect pressure. Forcing the tq to seat can damage the seal and cause a leak but is rare.have psi means its seated tho

Have you PM glacier a link to this thread.he seams to be the man with trans?

So I got the trans back and in and one of two symptoms is gone or at least seems to be gone and that's the hesitation takin off is no longer there but it still shakes/shudders when pushed a little but it feels like its from the rear end. The guy doubled up on the valve body gasket and I have a brand new tc and It is in all the way but the shaking still bothers me any ideas ?

UPDATE>>>> after the fourth time of removing the trans and having it "fixed" it still has problems. i was told the case was warped/ cracked so i was told he leveled it and the valve body now i have no reverse again and no second gear i need help.. the guy has been doin it for free but still the amount of time i have in takin the trans in and out is alot. is there any links of test or anything i can do to figure something out.. something that i did notice if this helps is last night i dropped the pan and filter and the filter was missin one oring but i dont know if that has anything to do with my problems

i dont know if this make a diff either but i have a external trans filter if i crossed the hoses would it cause any of the problems im having?

As long as you got the in and out going to the right spot it should not matter if you hooked it up before the radiator or after. Just an idea check your internal filter and make sure you got the right one (when I got a transmission job done it started shifting hard and so I went into it myself with my dad and discovered it had the wrong filter in it put the right one in it and it worked perfect ever since.) and the o-rings are required for there to be proper suction of the fluid and make sure the filter is bolt is tight and you can't move the filter with your hand.

Got my truck back today and its "fixed" the only problem is that it's slow to upshift other that that it has power and engages all gears I have adjusted the detent cable and put a new vacuum mod on it any ideas?

I tightened the bands and readjusted my kick down cable and it's much better but now my 2-3 shift it odd. Is there anything I can do to make the 2-3 shift better

Check your transmission modulator valve. if it's a bit bent or bad anyway it will cause it to shift at higher rpm. i also noticed it will shutter
