Transmission Question

I have a 2001 Explorer with 4.0L engine and the 5R55E transmission. The engine is still in great condition but the transmission won't pull at all even with a new valve body. I was wondering what year transmissions would work for a direct swap. Or at least where I can find the information.

Have you inquired on how much it would cost to have that one rebuilt? Might be easier to rebuild than to try and swap in another one.
