5.0l Transmission Question

I have the 2000 RWD 5.0, and I was looking to replace the transmission with a used one... to my knowledge it uses the 4R70W, though I know little to nothing about that transmission or wether or not it would bolt straight up without it coming out another Explorer.

Question is all the Trannys I have found for sale are described as 5.0l, 4x4... Dose it matter is all im asking.. Is it not the same Transmission either way? Just asking before I spend the money to buy one, have it shipped, and it not be the right one having to re ship it back to get my money back...

it needs to be from a 2wd v8 explorer 99-01 should all be the same.

Its hard to find anything that seems will work as far as used transmissions go. I really dont know if I would like the idea of having it rebuilt anyways... I hear rebuilt transmissions never last..
