I've got the transmission out of my Explorer. They guy working on it is a perfectionist and very good at knowing inherent problems. While the transmission is out, I want to get some work done to insure many happy miles. Here is the list I have compiled, please let me know if I am missing anything:

Replace Rear Main Seal
Replace Pilot Bushing
Replace Throw Out Bearing
Replace Slave Cylinder
Replace Clutch
Resurface Pressure Plate

Anything I a missing?

Check your tranny mount while you are at it. Make sure it's ok. Also check your universals.

If you are putting a new clutch in it then i would have the fly wheel turned also. Oh by the way, this is on your 91 right? How many bolts does your flywheel have where it bolts to the crank? Good luck, thanks1

Happy trailes!
