Hey everyone,
i just had my engine replaced and it cost me $1614, 2 weeks before i got the engine replaced i had a transmission fluid change and filter. the next day i went to go somewhere and it would not go into drive it would just rev, and eventually it kicked in, and today it did the same thing, put it into drive and it started to go very slowly and finally kicked in again, am i looking at replacing the transmission soon?

sounds like your torque converter, try putting it into 2nd or third, should go right into gear after that, just a temp fix, but a fix none the less.

is this going to gradually get worse or will it just stay like this?

it has been over two years for me and still working fine except for having to occasionally put it in 2nd then drive.

It could be the fluid level in the trans. Maybe they didn't check the level when the truck was running in drive and being held back with the brake like they were supposed to. Funny things transmissions are with out enough fluid in them.
