I plan on starting some mantenience on my EX this weekend. Can't stand the idea of not knowing how long it's been since any of it has been done if at all.

I plan on dropping the transmission pan and replacing the filter. Any heads up for anything out of the ordinary I should be looking for?

Also plan on doing:
plugs
wires
bleed brakes
flush coolant

Look for metal pieces. Some fine grey "sand" will be OK. Clean the magnet when you clean the pan and do not forget to reinstall it.

You didn't mention whether or not you have 4x4. I have 99 4x4 xlt and in order to get the tranny pan out, I had to remove the front driveshaft. I chose to remove the 5 or 6 bolts that connect it to the T-case. Just make sure you mark it so that you can put it back in the same position. Good luck

2WD for me. It's been about 5 years since I've even seen snow so not much need for 4x4.
