I own a 2003 Ford Explorer 4.6 with a new engine and recently rebuilt transmission. I have 2 questions, my first question is, does anyone else find their transmission hesitating going from 2nd to 3rd gear? I will be driving in 2nd and as it shifts the rpms will go up and then finally catches in 3rd gear. Maybe this is normal but I'm not sure. My second question, my truck has trouble with kickdowns, I really have to hit the pedal, pretty much to the floor, for it to downshift. Is there anyway to adjust or fix this?
