My 2000 sport is having problems. About a month ago, I noticed that when the truck is cold, it shudders when you put it in reverse, and try to take off. It seems to go away ( or at least ease up) when the vehicle is at operating temperature.
Now it seems to be slipping badly when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. All other gears are fine, and it pulls my 3,000 Lb boat up steep ramps without hesitation.
The fluid is full, clean, and red.
Any ideas?
