I am wondering where the transmission vent tube is located and if there are modifications I can make to make it higher or more capable of going through deep water. I can't drive comfortably through water without knowing it's height in relation to my explorer.

The vent tube is on top of the rear of the transmission and there is another one on the transfer case on the same side as the front output closer to the top. The best thing is to remove both of these hoses and replace them with longer ones. It would be best to get them as high as possible.

checked out your page

I checked out your page, Looks neat, butthe pics in your latest post caught my eye.
Noticed you'd been to walker valley ORV park, What did you think? Ive, only been out ther a little and limited in time. I live in Mount Vernon. After being overseas for a lot of years its been real disappointing to find so many roads gated and locked.
