ok may be a dumb ? or I may not give all the info you may need to give a good answer but here we go.

ok have been working on this 94 for a little while now and i have most of it done it sat for some time in the barn bout 4 years. now i have fixed most things have it running need to do a cat back on it bc of a few mice in exhaust and all new brakes bc calipers are sticking but the BIG problem is the tranny it started to leak today where it bolts up the the motor it leaked about a quart today after one of the calipers lock up on me. ok i would like some ideas as what to do. such as do i need to change the fluid do i need to find the true source of the leak or do i need to drop it and swap it

thanks for any replies or ideas

Somewhere on here there is a sticky or thread where they talk about this leak. It is a seal behind the Torque Converter. You have to separate the trans, pull the TC and hope there isnt a score on the output shaft. Search under GEN 1 explorers transmission section and I am sure there is a sticky, or thread(s)

But it wouldn't hurt t get some brake cleen and see if its just a leaky pan gasket or line (you might luck out)
