i know its obvious how to trim, but im looking for pics of it done or a link to some pics. i want to do the best job i can. i already trimmed the front plastic rocker piece and it looks great and drivable now. but i still rub slightly on the black inner fender plastic and on the passenger side im hitting the metal part of the fender where it bends under. im looking for all kinds of advise but mainly cosmetically how to do it the best. and 1 question is it normal to have to trim this much ive seen lotsa trucks on here with 33's but maybe i didnt take into consideration that they trimmed alot. thanks

Hey Red.. when I trimmed mine this is what I did.

I drew a line with a sharpie the rough round I wanted to trim. Then cut slots from the outside of the fender to just before the line. Then I just folded the tabs back ever so gently. :D

I used a die-cutter to do this, by the way.

Here is a pic:

cut and bend i like it glad i waited now thanks is a die cutter something like a dremmel tool with a cutting blade?

Exactly. Just runs at way faster rpms using an air compressor.

when i need to cut plastic what i do is get my dads heat gun, and a butter knife, and a heat retardent glove.

heat the knife up really hot and it will cut through plastic like butter

I recently installed My billet grill and had to cut the stock shell. I used a rotozip. I love this tool. It's a little like a dremel but has some punch. Honestly if you get the rotozip with the zip mate grinder attachment this may be the last tool you need for cutting grinding sanding and finishing. Its really that versatile.
