I got a 96 Ford Explorer Sport 2wd I'm rying to find a good lift probably 4" to 6" can I use a Ranger lift for the front and change over to an SOA (spring over axle) in the rear? :exporange

Welcome to the Forum.
If you want a suspension lift that high in the front you will need to do a SAS.

There are a few people here who have done a Solid Front Axle conversion here. It's not hard finding stuff if you have a decent scrap yard around you.

So when I do the SAS with a Dana 44 would I get all new calipers and lines for the Dana or would use my old EExplorer ones?

You don't need to SAS to lift the front. Do some searching here, you can use a ranger body lift, you can use certain Ranger Lift Spindles and combine that with a torsion twist to match an SOA in the rear.
