Truck hates it when the tires spin

So my ranger gets a lil cranky when I spin the tires. It will surge and the gears will stick after rippin a dirt corner or just spinning the tires on wet pavement. A guess would the the camshaft position sensor or bad ignition timing...Anyone have any ideas? Also how effective is replacing the coil pack to improve ignition and ignition timing??? thanks

Abusing your vehicle will cause it to do all sorts of weird things. A ranger isnt built to spin the tires.
