TRuck smokes like a freight train, then wont start????

I started my truck for the first time in like a day and a half of having a dead battery so i could work on it some more. It smoked like a freight train!! Big clouds of white smoke billowed out of it. I wanted to check the FPR because of the god-awful mileage i am getting. After hooking the tester up, i attempted to start the truck again, and now it will not start, what is the deal here, someone please help me out, i would to like to eventually drive my navajo again, thanks.

hmmm sounds like a blown head gasket motor sucking massive amounts of coolant into the engine and burning it causing the smoke. Of course once the plugs get wet it won't start.

But my engine has never overheated or had any problems from the motor, all transmission related. Any other prognosis out there, maybe one a little less terrible, lol, thanks though

could it be the throttle valve vacuum diaphram on the tranny??

Where is this located? And its function, ive honestly never heard of it, thanks

passenger side, behind Intermediate Servo and Overdrive servo.

basically uses vacuum to tell the tranny the throttle position.

Wow, that was it exactly, it started right up after that, thanks so much, glad it was such a simple solution.
