In the Feb. 2002 issue of Truckin magazine, in an article about the new Lincoln Aviator, they say this:
In many cases it's true. Why can't Ford offer a similar engine on it's Sport models at least?! Maybe a supercharger option like the Tacomas have?! It angers me. :fire: :fire: :fire:
Sure, there'll be loads of luxo-equipment packed aboard and a smaller version of the Navigator's grille up front, but the real element in distinguishing the Aviator from the pokey Explorer will be the four valve, DOHC cylinder heads sitting atop each bank of the 4.6 liter V-8
