I've got the Truxxx lift installed and the lift is modest but noticeable.
Has anyone found a fender flare that will work?
I'd like to add those before I shop for new wheels and the largest aggressive tires that I can fit.

I know someone with an 06 Explorer (non ST) had some fiberglass fenders made for him (bolted/ironman style). I'm pretty sure there are no commercial fender flares for Exs or STs.

I'd recommend finding someone locally who can shape and use fiberglass well and talk to them about some custom ones.

I've considered custom building a set but I'm going to a "truck shop" and do some trials with flares designed for other trucks.
I can get by without them but a proper set would give me other wheel/tire options.
Thanks!

hey man i just installed the kit to and have found that it now handels rly poorly i can fell the truck transfer from side to side when i shake the wheel as if it is not connect to the wheels have u found this i have also have a grinding noise at fullsteer

A higher center of gravity changes the handling but you should check you alignment. Larger tires also raise the center of gravity.
You have to trim the fender liners with the larger tires.

Dave's Trac looks to have full fiberglass fenders. Not fender flares

Those Dave Turners are full fender replacements - cut out ones, so you'd never have rubbing problems. They won't make your truck look really aggressive though.

If you're interesting in those definitely shoot Dave Turner an email, I had some correspondence with them about ST parts last year or the year before - they were really helpful and pretty quick to answer (keep in mind sometimes they have a race schedule). I'm pretty sure he quoted the pair of front fenders (unpainted obviously) for less than $500. I don't think they had rears.
