im looking to build a bigger box for my 2 kicker c10's. the box i have now is pretty small and i only built it that way so i had some trunk space, well im over that now and i am wanting to build a box that will make my subs perform better and louder. the only question i have is what size should i make it and how much space inside the box should there be for best quality. im looking to make a box like this...

anyone??????

dude you're not gonna get an instant reply, you need to wait, besides don't forum rules say you have to wait 24hours before bumping?

dimensions on usable area??

specs of current enclosure?

usable area is about 45in wide 1ft tall and around 1ft deep. im not sure on the dimensions of my old box. it is really small though because i made it to fit behind the third row in my 3rd gen.

the box pictured was made by me. Was for a 95 civic sedan for two type R 12s. Was 3.5 cubic feet tuned to 34 hz using 2 4" aeroports (not installed in this pic) then had a 3/4" plexi window as the whole back of the box with the alpine logo sandblasted into the plexi. came out nice and sounded pretty good.

You want to go with a ported design for starters, then you need to know how much space you want your enclosure to take up in your cargo area and go from there.

I do custom designs if you were interested or whole enclosure builds. Feel free to pm me
