ok so ive got a 1998 ford explorer 4 dr 4x4 that i was to put a 3'' lift and 265 75 r 16 on it. or some 32" tires. but i want to know if it will work. my stock tires are 225 75 15 with a +12 offset. the rims im going to are 16X8 with a -5 offset. i want to know if this will work and if anyone knows where i can get a good cheap lift kit.

and should i do a body lift or a suspension lift. i love going off road but i dont realy do and rock crallin lol.

i want the best tire size for the new rims im getting that wont rub. some where around a 32 would be great i just need to know if it will work:exp:

You could just do a small torsion twist and shackle/block lift, and 32's would likely fit (although 265/75R16's might be better). If you find you want more fender clearance in front with stock fenders, you could do a small 1-2" body lift. The TT/Shackle/Block lift is as cheap as it gets, probably ~$100. Body lift is cheap but not easy. I'd suggest putting in new body mount bushings (Daystar makes polyurethane ones) while you're at it.
