I was thinking about doing the TT with Warrior Shackles, but I've been told that the TT can cause excessive wear on the CV joints, creating expensive problems later on. Anyone have any experience with this problem? From what I've seen from searching threads, there doesn't seem to be an issue with the CV joints at all, unless I'm just missing those threads somehow.

By the way - all I'm really looking for is to lift the rear about 2 inches and then the front to match the rear heighth, which should be about 1-1/4", since there is about 3/4" rear sag.

Thanks.

I havent heard anything about problems i have been researching and want to do the same thing. I would recomend getting higher rated T bars though cause the stock ones are horrible.

ive had the TT/shackle lift for well over a year now and not problems at all. Larger tires also wear down the joints (or they are supposed to) and ive had 32" tires for almost exactly a year and still no problems. On my stock CV's im currently at 135K miles.

Just dont go over 2" TT and you'll be fine.

Do you have stock T-bars or did you need to switch those out?

Mine are stock.

my 98 Sport came with high rated bars. You can get the code and find out which ones you have- do a search on here... i havent looked it up in over a year but i know the charts or links are around.

the only bars rated higher than mine are off the new sport tracs.
