yeah its really over kill but they like it at shows. it pulls a pretty big crowd when i pull in. im debating weather or not to order this 5.0 and have it waiting at home. haha my girl would kill me if she had to deal with a engine block in the living room.

Mack-Do you have any pics of your sound system? Or any pics of you ride as it sets? I am going to vote and say order the motor!!!!!!!!!!

Your girl? upset by a block in the living room?...NON-SENSE!!...you should just have her stuff it in the closet ^.^...it only weights like 200 lbs ^.^...oh and ive been thinking of what to do with my old motor...im thinking a 300 horse power 12 foot long chain saw would be the perfect thing to keep the Jehova's witness'es away...(no offence intended to our religious members intended...just dont like people ignoring my "im not interested" sign on my mail box..and yes the Comment was intended as a joke!!))

haha zerodevil that great!!!!! i might steal you idea........

thats pretty freakin slick man...well done...now a nice lobey idle and a kb whine should top it off....lol and i love that huge P O W E R on the floor. Who did your rims? im looking for a 20X10 for when i get my motor in.

I could even mount said chainsaw to My explorer...rush hour traffic and small import cars wouldnt stand a chance!! i need to drop the idea before i seriously consider it <(^.^)>

If you do order that block, you should have a bunch of flowers shop up a day or so before you the block is supposed to...that should prevent the flying dishes and pots when you get home! CHEERS!!

heres a few of my baby. Im currently running 50 W hid's on low/hi's and fogs(6000K) just a "bit" brighter now...also..my tail lights were to bright for my camera...so they show up orange...if you look at my rear end shot...the color next to my license plate...thats their real color...i also have some front end work planned for this summer...mainly a T-rex billet grill to get rid of that nasty lip on the sides and bottom of my top grill..cheepo grills dont have a cover for that..wish i would have know that then.

Geez Mack, you trying to go deaf? Trust me, it's not that fun;) Very nice looking ride. Keep it up. You may enjoy the sound of your KB and new motor so much that you will never turn the radio on again?

Zerodevil, did you paint your grills, and front inside lights black? I have thought about doing an all black front like the new adrenalin thats out. You also mentioned that the lowest portion of the grill has more space than you wanted? I'm sure snow gets old for you but I love it!!! Just as long as I don't have to work out in it.

WOW!!! I say I love snow and guess what? IT"S SNOWING!!! You know what else I love? MONEY!!! Now I am going to check my bank account!!! :)

i picked them out when i had my f150 but when i got the mountaineer i threw them on with some wheel adaptors. i love the stance they gave me but they will be up for sale soon and my new kmc km701s will be mounted up

yeah i like my bass and when i was born i lost 30% of my hearing so it doesnt really bother me. when i got my exhaust and that stuff done i think i went about a month with my system shutoff just so i could hear the v8. once i get my motor and sc all installed i might have too pull the system and head to the track. what do you guys think a 500hp awd mounty will run on 33 inch tires hehe

I'd say you will run low 13's and maybe high 12's? I actually have an 80% hearing loss. I have had hearing aids since I was 4 and I'm 25 now. That's why I put exhaust on as well, wanted to hear the V8 and wanted to enhance the performance a little bit. My stock sound system is okay and gets the job done, but I would like to upgrade all the stock speakers and rear sub with JL units and a good touchscreen head unit. That would be more than enough for me because I am not into crazy sound systems, my brother is though. Have you ever had a dB reading to see how loud it is?

lol mak, i think its going to be pretty damn fast...500hp is a LOT of power...id say 14 seconds easy...13.5 on a good day...probably faster if you dropped the 33's and ran stockers. lol....4000 Watts...is that the kinda thing you roll up on a store you dont like to scare away customers? lol.

Limited, I LOVE snow...(when else can i slide this tank around like a cheap japaneese import?) Yes i paited my entire front end(i wanted two tone black and grey)...and if you look at the bottom end of the main grill, you can see there is like a half inch of space as well as a lip that goes around the sides and bottom of the grill..it looks pretty nasty i think...the T-rex billit grill fixes all that....for $250 shipped

my system is enough to shake my house from about 6 blocks away. i hit 184db like right after they were boken in. the roof and rear hatch looked like they were gonna jump off the truck. and my rear windows did leak till i got the rear windows replaced.

the 20s i have on in the pic are 20x9s but when its a little wet i can throw my truck sideways and ride it a good way. if its slick enough i can pull donuts on pavement hehe. i love having a WIDE stance. my truck is about 5-6 inches wider due to the wheels.

id be happy with 12s haha then light every honda and most tuners in town

this gives you an idea on the stance

****, whats the off set of those?

His rims stick out a bit because they are intended for an F-150. He had to run adaptors to get them to fit causing them the stick out a bit.

Mack-When are you going to be back to put the KMC's on? I have seen those wheels on a S197 stang at the dealership and they look nice. Make me think of Mach 1 wheels. I would like to see the Boss wheels with 33's on as well. Either way, when you get back, swap the wheels and get some pics up. I should have some up next weekend when my new wheels show up.

i got my kmcs with a 0 offset and the guy said im looking at a almost 4 inch lip so i cant wait. i went with the poliched and black so it would match my silver and black.

im gonna get rid of the boss wheels for pretty cheap. i dont have any room at my town house, its starting to look like a rim shop i just got my girl a set of konig afterburners for her new tiburon, my boss wheels, 2 sets on 17 inch konig honda wheels, my kmc km 701s. my shed is fully of wheels.

im def. getting a set of 33s for my stock wheels if i can sell the wrangler silent armors that are on my truck now

Well here is the update. I don't think I mentioned that I was having a problem with two of my tunes. Only my 93 would load. Well I returned it to stock to see if it would because the SCT tech wanted to know. After that, I tried to reload the 93 tune and it will not load!!! I then had to download a new updater that's not available on SCT site yet that the Tech sent me to see if that help, but no luck either. But they are doing all they can and treating me good.

So I am currently running the stock tune now which sucks because I want to run this friday to see how quick she is. I did do one new upgrade today, I put on an electric fan. :) I drove the truck in the stock tune to get some parts, changed the fan and took it for a spin. It almost felt like I got my 93 tune back!!! There is a noticable difference in lowend takeoff as well as better throttle response. Now I just need to get the 93 tune back in and hunt some VETTES!!!!!:burnout:

Oh yeah, like 5 min ago UPS showed up. Got me some new "shoes" for the Ex:D Pics will be up soon if they fit right.

are you working with james at all? i would keep trying to upload that tune, i think one time i had to try 3 or 4 times to get the tune to upload...have you updated the device yet?? did you get james a read strategy from your tuner?. if you havnt yet, i would plug in the device, goto vehicle info, and get the read strategy code from it...the wrong code would not allow for the tunes to be uploaded...keep us updated!!...if your truck still has the stock tune i would just reformat the device and put my tunes on again...fixed my problem.

So you think the E-fan was a worthwhile mod? ive got my eye on a fan that has a max flow rate of 3300 CFM...and a good controller for it...think im going to rig two modes to it, one via thermo-stat, and one to a manual switch.

Lets see them shoes!!!

I have downloaded a new updater 2.1.7 version that you cannot even get on SCT website. I was working with James but he has referred me to an SCT Tech to figure out what's going on. But James has been getting back and checking up on progress. I have already done a strategy read before I first recieved my tunes. I guess I will have to continue to try to upload them into the vehicle. Takes like 15min or more to load though:( New "shoes" will be up sometime tomorrow because they need a good polish and it's supposed to rain tomorrow and friday, meaning I may not be able to race on friday!

I hooked mine up with a Torque Flo thermostat switch thing(cheap) I also want to wire I new lead incase the thermostat quits. But yeah, I think it helped a little bit. It was cheap for me to do because my dad had the fan from his racing days and I just snatched it up since he will never use it. I'll report how gas milage changes.
