there is no turbo availible unless it is a custom kit. EE is coming out with a supercharger for the SOHC anytime now. YOu can see it online at www.explorerexpress.com or get the oct issue of truckin' and turn to page 236 i beleive

i only see a supercharger for the V8 at EE???

A turbo setup on an Explorer will be a huge undertaking, and won't be a simple, bolt together project that you will do in a weekend. You will need another daily driver, a lot of cash, and a lot of patience, and trial and error.

But if you do it right, it will be sooo worth it.
Didn't Klownz/Klowns have a turbo on his 4.0? Haven't seen any posts from him in a while. I know he rebuilt the engine with strong internals, dropped the compression, and was planning on running 20 PSI. That would be awesome!

EDIT: Looks like he gave up on it and bought a vette. Still, I think he would be the man to talk to about turbocharging the 4.0, if you can get in touch with him.

He ended up blowing up his motor shortly after installing the turbo I believe. A supercharger would be so much easier, less time consuming, and almost 100% bolt on.
