Turning issue with 04 Explorer

We use all Explorers at my department for squads. We have an 04 that everytime you turn the wheel hard in each direction, it pulls and scrubs and sometimes the brake dash light comes on. It also pulls to the right. It has the auto 4x4 on the dash and I am wondering if the system is not disengaging when the guys come out of 4x4 and it stays between 2wd and 4wd on the road????? any thoughts before we turn it over to da shop.....

Welcome to Explorer Forum! Make sure that every time you disengage the 4X4 you go in the opposite direction of the last movement for at least two feet. That way the auto hubs will disengage.
