Tweeters in Dashboard

Has anyone installed tweeters in the dashboard? I would like to do it with out drilling any visible holes in the dash. If anyone has pictures of their installs, that would be awesome.

Ive seen members do some cool tweeter installs, one used the side window defrost vents and did some fiberglass (Or maybe even Bondo?) work. It looked amazing, and like it was stock.

The one I seen was a 2nd gen, and had fiberglassed the tweets in and made them "more even" since the 2nd gen defroster vents dont sit evenly (Drivers side is on more of an angle I think), and painted it glossy black, it looked amazing. Id like todo something like that, but I would die without side window defrosting in the winter, all my windows always get so foggy

That is pretty damn perfect... my only problem is I have an 09' haha, I like the concept though for sure, looks very clean. I installed tweeters in the dash of my last vehicle (2006 Buick Rainier) and it made a huge difference in the sound of the stereo. So I definitely want to figure something out.

Oh god yea tweeters can make or break a system. I havent bought any yet, I just have my stock (From an LS with the MACH system), door speakers up front which have the 4" mid, and the 1.5" tweeter, and they honestly handle everything ive thrown at them. My stock "JBL" (****) front speakers were the same (4" mid, 1.5" tweeter but older and sounded terrible) and the blew the first time I really cranked the radio up.

I have yet to buy better door speakers only because I need more important things (New leafs, shocks, balljoints, etc)

I'm not sure what this is, but I am going to check it out and see if I can put my tweeters there... there is one on each side. Anybody know what these are for?

I believe you pop it off to get to the bolts that hold the dash on. Youd be fine to mount them there, but make sure its still removeable to get to the bolt if need-be.
