If you remember E-Tickets, I'll bet you are also old enough to remember when the Beatles broke up and Jimi died. But it will be our secret…

...i was real young but i remember when they came to america, lol...:D

I pulled a u-haul car trailer with my 91 X that I had. U-haul did not know it though. A guy get stuck in my neighbors yard with a big U-haul truck and car trailer. We unhooked the trailer and I pulled the truck out and then went back and pulled the trailer out. Saved U-haul a tow bill, should have charged them.

Or as one of my daughter's friends asked, "Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?"

My girlfriend was moving and she rented a Uhaul (for her pathfinder) and the wheel bearing was completely destroyed... The wheel had roughly 12 inches of rock when we tried to move it... It took a while to convince the shop owners that using this trailer was a bad idea, they insisted on wasting our time and seeing if they could fix it (they had no other trailers)
I got more about uhaul but thats enough for this post.

These days I would give her credit for knowing about Wings. They didn't record much Hip Hop.

I still like to know how U-haul expects you to tow boats, jet skis, bicycle racks, or wheel chairs? I'd especially hate to be the person being towed in a wheel chair doing 120 Kmph down the highway. Maybe that is why they won't rent to explorer owners? Since all that bs over the not renting to explorer owners, I don't even think of them as a company for renting anything from. Even when I need something for my Olds Intrigue. I'll go to Reese or whomever else.

I think what they mean by "wheel chairs" is those racks that hook onto the hitch that the scooters and wheelchairs attach to. You see them all the time down in Biloxi, MS when the old people from New Orleans area go down there to play in the casinos.

Though I'd love to see someone try your suggestion.:D

Personally, if Ford was the one that turned around and sued U-Haul for the issue, than it is mostly their fault. U-Haul wants to avoid getting sued again, so they go and pull this ****. What I'd do if I were moving, I'd borrow someone else's car with a hitch, get the trailer, then come back and switch it over to my Explorer. What's the worst they're going to do when you make it to the other end, tell you you weren't supposed to have it?

The actual u-haul letter!
