I'm sure you are going to be a good one. You certainly have the knowledge and the right attitude for it. So what happen to the one you replaced to moderate the sport forum. I think his name was trktmgk or something...

The split collets can go on any Explorer. Why would they only be for lowered applications? On my lifted rig they themselves helped out a lot.

I know this is a bit off the topic but, talking about allen wrenches, if you buy the cheap ones, a trick to maximize their life is once the head starts to round.
Hit it with a hack saw.
Cut off the rounded off part and you are good as new!!!

Group Sway Bar Purchase

I've already signed up for the rear sway bar for my '01 Sport. However, I've noticed some of the posts on this subject talk about installing the poly bushings on the links as well and even on the front bar. As these bushings do not come with the kit I'm ordering, do you recommend ordering and installing these poly bushings as well? Do they make that big a difference?
If I'm going to to have the new rear bar installed by my mechanic, I might as well do the new bushings on the links and front bar at the same time.
Thanks !

The sway bar by itself will give you a huge improvement over stock. The link bushing udgrade to polyurethane would give slight if any noticable improvement. However, I have received nothing but favorable feedback from those who have changed the link bushings. In other words, it can only make a good thing better.
