Under Hood Lighting?

My 2000 Explorer XLS is, sadly, missing any kind of hook-up for lights underneath the hood. Was wondering if anyone had tried to rig up something to work under the hood? I'd love to put some LED's under the hood, mainly for repairing purposes only.

Hell you could just buy a complete led fog light kit from walmart that comes with switch and harness and mount them under the hood away from the exhaust manifolds like on the inner fenders or something and they would be on a switch.

I was always thinking of putting on a OEM GM retractable underhood light, like this. They would be dirt cheap at the pick-a-part yard.
