Unlcok Switch Does Not Work - Help!

2000 Eddie Bauer edition. The driver side lock/unlock will lock, but it will not unlock. All other switches in vehicle work and the key pad works fine. I swapped the driver side switch out w/ a new one and the unlock still does not work but the lock function does work - so I'm confident the switch is ok. What should I check next? Thanks for any comments.

Check the wires on the door loom, it might be that there's your problem, as it opens and closes and it's hidden not so easy to spot...
