ok i ordered a volant CAI last wedsnday and it came this tuesday.i put it in today (3-19-08) it was pretty straight forward as the directions go.but it was a little tight to get it in since i now have a throttle body spacer from helix.that makes the throttle body about a inch or a little more forward.but it all went in,cleaned the throttle body since i had the intake tubing off.then cleaned the mass air flow sensor.put it all together started it up,let it adjust to the new setup and clear out the throttle body cleaner left in the plenum.then took it out for a test drive.not a whole lot difference than the stock intake tube and the $39.95 autozone cone filter i had.it seems to have more throttle response.it sounds about the same as the cone i had.i just really like how the filter is kept in the box away from the hot engine heat under the hood.after i drove it about 10 minutes and getting on it quite often,i brought it home felt the intake tube and it was nice and cold.i mean it was only around 40 degrees at the time.but i like it,$288.00 worth.....a little pricey.but all in all,a great CAI!!!!!
