Upgrade CD player to nav.

I have a 2002 explorer Eddie Bauer and I want to replace the stock 6 disc cd changer with a cd nav unit. I am looking a cd nav unit out of a 2003 expedition eddie bauer. does anyone know if thay are interchangeable?

the mounting is the same, i think the harness is the same. You may need to add a vss wire to it if its not in your current harness. you will have to run and mount the gps antenna.

so i think it should work.

Deoends on the price i would also look into aftermarket. you can get and aftermarket touch screen, nav, dvd, bluetooth starting at about 600 or so.
