I was wondering if anybody knew any replacement bulbs (upgrade from stock) for my headlights that are $40 or less. I am looking for brightest (as in lighting up the road the best), not necessarily the best looking/ whitest. I have smoke lense covers and am trying to compensate. From reading everyones posts I know PIAA are the best I just can't drop $70.

Don't know about where and how much BUT when riding at night take off the covers.
I believe that is why they are mounted with valcro(sp).

check out these lights

try Sylvania Cool Blue they really make a difference, it's more of a blue-white light rather than the yellowish stock bulbs. And a set is only $30

I can get you the standard super white xenon bulbs which are about 50-65 watt depending on bulb for $18.95 or HI-WATT xenon super whites which are about 80-100 watt for $22.95.

You can't improve the light through smoke headlight covers by that much. I replaced my bulbs with some expensive superwhites and it didn't really help. Thats when I went with the Styleyes headlight covers.

See in the pic.

J.C. Whitnet catalog 80/100 watt 11.99 ea. Shiping is $7.80. Cheapest I've seen. Lights cost more on their website. Go figure....

But Bill, won't they melt your wiring harnesses b/c of the power these lights need??

Zach, can you up the price about $10 because Sylvania's SilverStar headlights. They're $25 each and I've heard a lot of great things about them.

ssikora.. do u have any nighttime pics with the lights on?

Here...check this link I will try to get a clearer pic tonight.

SSIKORA: Style Eyes light covers

Hey those are sweet light covers!!:) Where did you buy them and how much were they? Do they limit your light output? Do they just slide in? I might just have to switch mine.

zach,, u have carbon fiber headlight lenses? what are those? do u have pics? info please??

They were the normal price of covers..like $50 or so. I got them from www.stylinconcepts.com. I like the way the GTS covers connect better, but these do just snap in....and I haven't had them fall off.
