Upgrade Tyres

Hi Folks
i just wanted to know if any one in the uk knows what size rims and tyres i can put on my standard explorer? also i have noticed that mine sits lower that other 4x4's on the road. does anyone have an idea why that could be?

The standard tyre fitted in the UK was a 255*70*16 You can go up to a 265*75*16 but they do rub a little on full lock. Check that the previous owner did not lower it with blocks on the rear axle. Should be about the same height as a disco or j**p.
