My RH Upper has a bit of movement in it and I am contemplating replacing it myself. While shopping for the parts at rockauto.com, I noticed a difference in the ball joints with bracket vs. the entire control arm. I don't understand how the joint with bracket works. I went outside and looked at my uppers and for the life of me, can't picture how those install. Can someone please explain or if you have a diagram...even better. THANKS!

Nobody?

I found an explorer in a parking lot and looked...I see the difference in a stock 2-peice vs. aftermarket one-peice.

Thanks anyway.

I need 'em on mine too. I called the dealer and they said that the 2 piece right upper control arm has been superceded by a 1 piece version. Hmmm. The 2 piece arm looks like it may have some provision for caster adjustment. If so, why do they put it on only the right side, and why is the replacement a 1 piece? Can anybody shed some light on this?
