2000 Explorer 4.0 4wd doing upper ball joints I've gotten the left side apart but to get the eccentric bolts out of their slots was a unholy terror because of EGR, brake lines and the other crap the engineers thought would be a good idea to hang there. My question is can i reverse the eccentric bolts insertion in the frame. In other words can I put the bolts in so the heads would be furthest from the shock tower and the nuts would be closest to shock tower? It seems that it would speed assembly considerably.
