upper control arm bushings

just read in haynes manual that upper control arm bushings on '95 and later explorers cannot be replaced. the whole arm needs to be changed out.
i have a '96 , can anyone verify this?

and if the case, is the control arm different for passenger and driver side? theyre $99 in the Zone

Arms are different side to side and im pretty sure bushings are not serviceable.
