Urgent:need help w/reverse gauge wiring

OK, i found that bar you were talking about. I used some electrical tape and a zip tie to secure the ground. It does work now, Power from the blue wire, grounded to the bar right behind the rear wiper switch. The parking brake light didnt line up, it was a space over to the right, but im not going to mess with it. I did have to take the three screws out from the tack and poke some holes in the new face, also. Everything looks real nice though, 'specially with that expensive @ss carbon fiber bezel.;) P.S. were any of your gauges off any?

glad they work!

They were off a little, but not much.. The thing that gives them away is the spaces between the gauges, they a little crooked... I'd like to get a bezel too, just not sure about to carbon fiber one... If I had a digi cam, I could show you how to easily fix the brake light.. (Much easier for me, I like pictures:))

I also had to make holes in mine to hold the gauge in.. When I emailed Procarparts, they were like: If you want to return them.. blah blah blah, we'll just take a percentage of your money to restock them, so do you want to bend over, or not? I said no..

I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber, but it goes well with my black and grey interior and silver faces. Really glad i got it, too because of them being crooked. Now I have to get my speedo face replaced because it doesn't even light up! Man, they look sweet, but they arent worth all this hassle.

You sure the gauge is plugged in (I know, I know, stupid question).. Tried different plugs too? If it doesn't work, that sucks.. Oh, when I was putting them in one time, I bent the plugs (the male side) in one of the things and had to bend them back..

i figured thats what happened, but its just that face. I tried every plug, cleaned the connectors and stuff, and i noticed that there where to little threads of blue light at the bottom of the gauge, so it is getting power, just isnt lighting up.

Hmm, that sucks indeed :(... Hope you get it all worked out

Ya, me too. Thanks for the information. I am very relieved to have them almost working. It seems simple now, looking back. If you get any pictures up, my email is dueyrock@aol.com. I'll try to get some up as well.

Yeah, it's simple, just gotta figure it out.. And I don't know if I'll get pics in the near future, but I'll try
